{Review} The Mistake by Elle Kennedy
He’s a player in more ways than one…
College junior John Logan can get any girl he wants. For this hockey star, life is a parade of parties and hook-ups, but behind his killer grins and easygoing charm, he hides growing despair about the dead-end road he’ll be forced to walk after graduation. A sexy encounter with freshman Grace Ivers is just the distraction he needs, but when a thoughtless mistake pushes her away, Logan plans to spend his final year proving to her that he’s worth a second chance.
Now he’s going to need to up his game…
After a less than stellar freshman year, Grace is back at Briar University, older, wiser, and so over the arrogant hockey player she nearly handed her V-card to. She’s not a charity case, and she’s not the quiet butterfly she was when they first hooked up. If Logan expects her to roll over and beg like all his other puck bunnies, he can think again. He wants her back? He’ll have to work for it. This time around, she’ll be the one in the driver’s seat…and she plans on driving him wild.

Ahhhhh, Logan... Sweet, Sweet, Logan.
I didn't think I would like this story as much as The Deal because I figured the banter wouldn't be as amazing as the first book. Also, I LOVED the first one, LOOOOVED it and not many authors can make a second book as amazing as the first one but OH. MY. GOD... Elle delivered and she delivered well.
This book was different in the way it was presented. I can't give too much away so I had a hard time deciding how to write this review. But I will say in most books the story starts with the girl and guy and then by the end the guy wins over the girl and then the story ends. This book isn't like the others. The order is out of whack but that made me LOVE it so much more because I got to see inside the romance more than the other books. More of the what happens after the happily ever after. Not saying they lived happily ever after, you will have to find that out for yourself ;)...
The banter was also there in spades. This book did not disappoint my inner banter whore, I was pleasantly amused the entire time and loving every minute of it.
I guess since I am talking about the banter, I need to talk about the sex and make out scenes that were in this book.
I will just leave this gif here and you guys can figure it out for yourself...

Yeah, if that doesn't make you want to hurry and read this book then you are crazy!!!
This book also had a lot of emotions. I couldn't figure out if Logan was being stupid or sweet. I wanted to scream at him in some chapters and then hold him close in others. It made me emotional and a bit crazy but gaaaahh, I enjoyed the emotional rollercoaster.
I don't know what else to put in this review that will make you go read it. Banter, Sex, Strong characters, hot Hockey players, laughs, tears...etc etc... This one has it all and if you enjoyed The Deal then you will love this one just as much, I guaran-fucking-tee it!!
I give this book a 5"Get in my pants, Logan" Stars!!

{Review} Overruled by Emma Chase
As a DC defense attorney, Stanton Shaw keeps his head cool, his questions sharp, and his arguments irrefutable. They don’t call him the Jury Charmer for nothing – with his southern drawl, disarming smile and captivating green eyes – he’s a hard man to say no to. Men want to be him and women want to be thoroughly cross examined by him.
Stanton’s a man with a plan. And for a while, life was going according to that plan.
Until the day he receives an invitation to the wedding of his high school sweetheart and mother of his beloved ten-year old daughter. Jenny is getting married — to someone who isn’t him.
That's definitely not part of the plan.
***
Sofia Santos is a city raised, no-nonsense litigator who plans to become the most revered criminal defense attorney in the country. She doesn’t have time for relationships or distractions.
But when Stanton, her "friend with mind-blowing benefits" begs for help, she finds herself out of her element, out of her depth, and obviously out of her mind. Because she agrees to go with him – to The-Middle-Of-Nowhere, Mississippi – to do all she can to help Stanton win back the woman he loves.
Her head tells her she's crazy...and her heart says something else entirely.
***
What happens when you mix a one stop-light town, two professional arguers, a homecoming queen, four big brothers, some Jimmy Dean sausage and a gun-toting Nana?
The Bourbon flows, passions rise and even the best laid plans get overruled by the desires of the heart.

Oh Darling, this book gave me so many great feels.
Stanton gave Drew Evans a run for his money but Drew will still be number one in my heart.
Stanton's quick wit, southern charm, and remarkable bed skills had my toes curling and my heart melting.
This book started out kind of slow, but as I read more, I was continually loving the ride I was being taken on. Stanton was a classic, arrogant, southern boy that had a way of speaking that all but made your panties disappear.
Sofia was a feisty, ball busting best friend. She knew how to dish out the insults and argue with the best of them. She didn't back down and I loved her from the very first page I met her on.
Stanton and Sofia together were like this dynamic duo that no one wanted to be put up against. But unfortunately, even though the sex was good, Stanton always had someone back home that would always have his heart.
It drove me crazy trying to get Stanton to realize what was in front of him!! I was screaming at my book and was annoyed with him more than I liked him...
Men...
But this book had a real laid back, quiet feel to it, which is what really won me over. My grandparents live in the middle of nowhere surrounded by acres of land and the only neighbors are my aunts and uncles. It's peaceful there, where you can sit outside on the huge porch and just enjoy the silence. When I was younger, it drove me crazy bc there was nothing to do but now that I am older, I can appreciate it a lot more than I could before.
Now,when I sit out on the porch swing, with my own kids running around, I soak in all the peace and the feeling of belonging. But I could never live there because everyone knew everyone else's business and we couldn't go anywhere around town without bumping into someone that my grandparents knew, it is that small.
Because of that, I felt for Stanton, the split between feeling at home and wanting something more. Wanting to always have a place to ground you but wanting more in life than the small town that he grew up in. I could empathize with him.
Even when he was acting like a tool, I was rooting for him to get his head out of his ass.
And just when I thought the ending was going to be predictable, Emma surprised me. I fell more in love with the book by the end because of that conclusion. It wasn't what I was expecting but at the same time, it was everything I wanted.
I give this cocky, southern read a 4.5 "I need a gun-toting, granny" Stars!

GAAAHHHH!!!
I loved, loved, loved this book so hard!!!
I was on a weekend book bender trying to catch up with all of my reviews and this one was number three in the long list of books I was reading.
I. DID. NOT. WANT. TO. PUT.IT.DOWN!!!
It reminded me a lot of Fifty Shades without all the whips and chains and crazy props. Just clean, beautiful, sex that had me clenching my thighs and taking a break from the action so I could cool down my libido!!

Not wise to read such an explicit book when I can't do anything to cool the ache between the legs, while there are children running around... Just FYI...
The relationship, the banter, the push and pull, the frustration... Every single word, sentence, paragraph was exhilarating!! My little book worm and inner whore was satisfied with every detail, even when I wanted to shake the shit out of both of the characters.

There were parts where I would have liked if they had been left out because some of the push and pull was a little redundant and it got to be annoying but those parts were small and they were more towards the end when I was ready for the happily ever after and I wasn't getting it fast enough for my liking...
It happens, I'm impatient and want things when I want them and not a moment later!!

But the real star of the show were the main characters. Mr. Caraway was an egotistical asshole that I spent half the book hating and loving him at the same damn time. I wasn't sure if I wanted to bury him 6ft under or have my dirty, dirty way with him. He was one of those complex characters that I knew one thing but he was fighting it and then he just kept being a dick but at the same time, I saw something in him and still wanted to root for him and have my wicked way with him...
Alexa and I could have been BFFs. We would trade sarcasm for sarcasm and people wouldn't know if we hated each other or were just that witty... I LOVED her and I don't say this often enough but she is my favorite female character. I usually root for the male and love him all over the place but this time, I was so team Alexa, les-be-honest... She had a wicked sense of humor, quick on her feet, and SHE WASNT A WHINY CHARACTER!!!!! YAY!!!! I hate female leads that whine more than they breathe, it drives me BAT SHIT CRAZY!!

Also, Effie, was astonishing... She reminds me of me when I turn 70.. I can already predict my future and I will be her...
Overall, as anyone reading this can see, I LOVED this book! I recommend it to anyone who loves a good romance with some unexpected drama (you will not be able to guess this drama, I GUARANTEE it!!!), and anyone who loves a smartass, with a killer personality!
I give this book a 4.5 "I want to have Alexa's book babies" STARS!!!!!!!

{Review}{Excerpt} The Deal by Elle Kennedy
THE DEAL
Off-Campus Book #1
Elle Kennedy
She’s about to make a deal with the college bad boy…
Hannah Wells has finally found someone who turns her on. But while she might be confident in every other area of her life, she’s carting around a full set of baggage when it comes to sex and seduction. If she wants to get her crush’s attention, she’ll have to step out of her comfort zone and make him take notice…even if it means tutoring the annoying, childish, cockycaptain of the hockey team in exchange for a pretend date.
…and it’s going to be oh so good
All Garrett Graham has ever wanted is to play professional hockey after graduation, but his plummeting GPA is threatening everything he’s worked so hard for. If helping a sarcastic brunette make another guy jealous will help him secure his position on the team, he’s all for it. But when one unexpected kiss leads to the wildest sex of both their lives, it doesn’t take long for Garrett to realize that pretend isn’t going to cut it. Now he just has to convince Hannah that the man she wants looks a lot like him.
I am so giddy after reading this little gem!!
I thought this book was going to be another one of those books that is about a cocky jock that is to stupid to see what is in front of his face... But it wasn't... Not really...
Garrett is just...everything. Hannah is...everything and them together are...
The banter is what makes this book everything that it is. I am such a freaking whore for amazing banter and these two had it in SPADES. The heroine had a personality that wasn't whiny and pretentious.
She was broken before but it didn't let it DEFINE her. I always read these stories where the heroine is broken and needs someone to help fix her and by the end of the book, she finds someone, and they live happily ever after.
This book wasn't like that.
We get to see someone who has already healed. It was nice to be taken on a journey to see what happens to a person who has had a tragic past and has overcame it. The afterwards is probably as important as the recovery journey and I am glad the author didn't dwell on the tragic past. It happened, she healed, and now she was just searching for something else.
It was inspiring...
Also, the freaking sexual chemistry was through the freaking roof. I needed a cold shower or my battery operated friend, since my husband was at work, because OH MAH GOSH!!

I was eagerly turning the pages to see what was going to happen next and I didn't want to put this book down. Everything was just perfect in the way it was delivered that I can say, without a doubt, it is one of my favorite books I have read this year!
And I have to say that I am a HUGE anti-insta-love type person because it just doesn't seem plausible. I can't even stand to watch The Bachelor because it seems so fake and engineered to me. But this author made me feel the connection, FEEL the love, FEEL everything and I didn't even second guess the timeline of the relationship...
I didn't even realize the characters had only been hanging out for a week before they were... well, I will let you see what they were doing. But once I found that out, I didn't get that icky, OMG it is too soon feeling in my gut, I was actually waiting to see when they were going to rip their clothes off...
NO whiny heroines. There is a cocky jock that makes you want to slap him but also lick him at the same time so you are confused on what to do with him. But I am pretty sure you will choose to get him naked because, well, no one can refuse a cocky jock with a big ego but an even bigger heart.
I give this story a 5/5 "I am such a banter whore" Stars
EXCERPT
Thirty minutes before my shift ends, I find Garrett Graham in one of my booths.
Seriously.
Does this guy ever give up?
I have no desire to go over there and serve him, but I don’t have much of a choice. Lisa,
the other waitress on duty, is busy tending to a group of faculty members at a table across the room, and my boss Della is behind the baby-blue Formica counter dishing out slices of pecan pie to three freshman girls sitting on the tall swivel stools.
I set my jaw and march up to Garrett, making my displeasure obvious as I meet his
twinkling gray eyes. He runs a hand through his cropped dark hair and flashes a lopsided grin.
“Hey there, Hannah. Fancy meeting you here.”
“Yeah, fancy,” I mutter, yanking my order pad out of my apron pocket. “What can I get
“A tutor.”
“Sorry, that’s not on the menu.” I smile sweetly. “We serve really good pecan pie,
though.”
“You know what I did last night?” he says without acknowledging the sarcasm.
“Yep. You were text stalking me.”
He rolls his eyes. “Before that, I mean.”
I pretend to think it over. “Um…you hooked up with a cheerleader? No, you hooked up
with the girls’ hockey team. No, wait, they’re probably not ditzy enough for you. I stick with my original guess—cheerleader.”
“Sorority sister, actually,” he says smugly. “But I’m talking about what I did before that.”
He raises one dark eyebrow. “But I’m very intrigued by your interest in my sex life. I can give you details about that another time if you want.”
“I don’t.”
“Another time,” he echoes in a dismissive tone, folding his hands on the blue-and-white-
checkered tablecloth.
He’s got big hands with long fingers, short nails, and knuckles that are slightly red and
cracked. I wonder if he’s been in a fight recently, but then I realize the busted-up knuckles are probably a hockey player thing.
“I was at study group yesterday,” he informs me. “There were eight other people there,
and you know what the highest mark in the group was?” He blurts out the answer before I can hazard a guess. “C-plus. And our combined average was a D. How am I supposed to pass this makeup if I’m studying with people who are as dumb as I am? I need you, Wellsy.”
Wellsy? Is that a nickname? And how on earth does he know that my last name is Wells?
I never told—argh. Damn sign-up sheet.
Garrett notices my surprised look and cocks his brows again. “I learned a lot about you in study group. Got your number, your full name, even found out where you work.”
“Congratulations, you really are a stalker.”
“Nope, just thorough. I like to know what I’m up against.”
“Jesus Harold Christ! I’m not tutoring you, okay? Go bug somebody else.” I point at the
menu in front of him. “Are you ordering? Because if not, then please go away and let me do my job in peace.”
“Jesus Harold Christ?” Garrett snickers before picking up the laminated menu and giving it a cursory glance. “I’ll have a turkey club.” He sets the menu down, then reaches for it again.
“And a bacon double cheeseburger. Just the burger, no fries. Actually, I changed my mind—yes to the fries. Oh, and a side order of onion rings.”
My jaw almost hits the floor. “You’re seriously going to eat all that?”
He grins. “Of course. I’m a growing boy.”
Boy? Nuh-uh. I’m only noticing it now—probably because I’ve been too distracted by
how insufferable he is—but Garrett Graham is all man. There’s nothing boyish about him, not his chiseled good looks or his tall frame or that ripped chest of his, which suddenly flashes to mind as I remember the picture he sent me.
“I’ll also take a slice of that pecan pie and a Dr. Pepper to drink. Oh, and some tutoring.”
“Not on the menu,” I say cheerfully. “But the rest is coming right up.”
Before he can argue, I abandon his booth and head to the back counter to place his order with Julio, our night cook. A nanosecond later, Lisa rushes over and addresses me in a hushed
“Oh my God. You know who that is, right?”
“Yep.”
“It’s Garrett Graham.”
“I know,” I answer dryly. “That’s why I said yep.”
Lisa looks outraged. “What is wrong with you? Why aren’t you freaking out right now?
Garrett Graham is sitting in your booth. He talked to you.”
“Holy shit, he did? I mean, his lips were moving, but I didn’t realize he was talking.”
I roll my eyes and walk over to the drink station to pour Garrett’s drink. I don’t look his
way, but I can feel those smoky gray eyes following my every movement. He’s probably sending

{Review} Tied by Emma Chase
In the fourth sexy romance by the New York Times bestselling author of Tangled and Twisted, Drew and Kate can’t wait to tie the knot—if they can survive the pre-wedding festivities.
For most of my life, I never imagined I’d get married. But Kate did the impossible: she changed me. I think we can all agree I was pretty frigging awesome before, but now I’m even better.
The road to this day wasn’t all rainbows and boners. There were mistakes and misunderstandings worthy of a Greek tragedy. But Kate and I made it through with our inexhaustible lust, boundless admiration, and everlasting love for one another intact.
That being said, there were some unexpected incidents in Vegas last weekend that could have been a problem. It was kind of... my final test.
I know what you’re thinking—what the hell did you do this time? Relax. Let’s not judge, or call for my castration, until you've heard the whole story.
And hold on tight, because you’re in for a wild ride. Did you expect anything less?

I know what you’re thinking—what the hell did you do this time? Relax. Let’s not judge, or call for my castration, until you've heard the whole story.
And hold on tight, because you’re in for a wild ride. Did you expect anything less?
It is no big surprise that I LOVE me some Drew Evans!!
As much as he gives off this asshole, cocky vibe, he also has a HUUUUUUUGGGEEEE *aheeemm*... HEART (what did you think I was going to say??)....
Even though he is frustrating as hell, a huge pig, and you dont know whether to love him or kill him, he has something magical about him that makes you lose your mind whenever you are around him...
(It's probably his penis but that may just be me)
In Tangled I fell in love with him and his piggish ways, in Twisted I wanted to strangle him and then Tied made me want to do both! Some of the things that came out of his mouth, in this story, had me ready to choke him but I was also laughing and cheering him on.
Tied is really short. Well, shorter than what I was expecting, and almost the whole story takes place in Vegas. There is fuckery, sex toys, drugs, strippers and even a wedding... All the things you can expect for Vegas.
I laughed, I got teary eyed, I was frustrated and really horny in most places
(I mean it is DREW)...
But I loved that I was able to read about the wedding, the things leading up to it, and even what was happening next. I am sad to say goodbye to these characters but I am glad I have the books to keep me nice and toasty at night when I need something sexy and funny to read.

Overall, I give this book a 4.5/5 "I want Drew Evans to live inside my vagina" Stars!!!
If you are looking for something amazing, sexy, frustrating, and wonderful then I would pick up Tangled and continue reading for more Drew Evans!!
He's amazing and he knows it ;)
Indecent Proposal *TIED pre-order bonus excerpt*
"I hover over her, just close enough to caress her with my breath. “Fuck, Kate, the things I want to do to you…”
Her round, dark eyes drift over my face — filled with love and need. Docile and demanding at the same time.
“I’m yours, Drew.” She whispers. “You can do anything…everything.”
Does she understand what she’s offering? How badly I want to hear her voice, soaked with pleasure, screaming my name until it echoes off the hills around us?
Anything?
Oh, the possibilities."

{Review} Five Ways to Fall by K.A. Tucker
Sometimes you can’t change—and sometimes you just don’t want to. Discover Ben’s side of the story in this fourth novel by the beloved, top-selling indie author of Ten Tiny Breaths,One Tiny Lie, and Four Seconds to Lose.
Purple-haired, sharp-tongued Reese MacKay knows all about making the wrong choice; she’s made plenty of them in her twenty-odd-years. So when her impulsive, short-lived marriage ends in heartbreak, she decides it’s time for a change. She moves to Miami with the intention of hitting reset on her irresponsible life, and she does quite well…aside from an epically humiliating one-night stand in Cancun with a hot blond bouncer named Ben. Thank God she can get on a plane and leave that mistake behind her.
Football scholarship and frat parties with hot chicks? Part of charmer Ben Morris’s plan. Blown knee that kills any hope of a professional football career? So not part of the plan. Luckily Ben has brains to go with his knockout looks and magnetism. After three long years of balancing law school with his job as a bouncer at Penny’s Palace, he’s ready to lead a more mature life—until his first day of work, when he finds himself in the office of that crazy, hot chick he met in Cancun. The one he hasn’t stopped thinking about.
If Ben truly were a smart guy, he’d stay clear of Reese. She’s the boss’s stepdaughter and it’s been made very clear that office romances are grounds for dismissal. Plus, rumor has it she’s trouble. The only problem is, he likes trouble, especially when it’s so good-looking…

Ok this is the LASSSSTTT Review that I missed last week when I was dealing with moving, and other crazy stuff going on and didn't have the time or energy to review anything!!
I read this book a while ago and I really didn't think I could love another one of K.A's books as much as I LOVED Ten Tiny Breaths. Kacey was my all time favorite female character and with her witty, sarcastic, but caring nature she was hard to beat...
Then I was introduced to Reese and I fell in love with her the same way I did Kacey! I actually LOVED her more!!
Reese is a badass who has had a lot of shit thrown at her since she was very young. It wasn't until her stepdad came back into the picture that she even caught a break. She started to thrive in her environment and then Ben comes along and turns her world upside down like most leading men do.
He straight knocks Reese on her ass and she's smitten with him ever since.. And he can't seem to get enough of her either... BUT, of course, there is too much drama in each of their lives that makes it almost impossible for them to be together...
This whole story is incredible from the very first moment we are introduced to Reese, to the very end when we see where everyone's lives are headed... I was never bored and you could not get me to put the book down AT ALL!!
I swooned, I laughed...HARD, I was pissed, frustrated... Happy!! Tucker pulled every emotion out of me and I didn't know what to do or think or where I was at... NOTHING!! I just knew that I wanted to devour this story and then read it again and again until I had almost every line memorized. There wasn't a character in this story that I didn't love (well, ok there was this one bitch but I will let you read all about her... she is not worth me writing about), there wasn't a single part of this story that I would have changed.
I loved it all!!
I just knew I would love Ben's story and I am glad him and Kacey never worked out because Reese and Ben were truly meant to be together! So if you were always a pro-Ben person, like me, then you will not be disappointed in where Tucker took his character and I guarantee you will love this book as much as I did!!!
Overall I give this book a 5 "Reese is one badass bitch" STARS!!!!
Thanks K.A for giving us this story and I can't wait to see which characters you come up with next!!

{Review} Rusty-Nailed by Alice Clayton
In this sequel to Wallbanger, the second book in the Cocktail series, fan favorites Caroline and Simon negotiate the rollercoaster of their new relationship while house-sitting in San Francisco.
Playing house was never so much fun—or so confusing. With her boss on her honeymoon, Caroline’s working crazy long hours to keep the interior design company running—especially since she’s also the lead designer for the renovation of a gorgeous old hotel on Sausalito. So with her hotshot photographer boyfriend gallivanting all over the world for his job, she and Simon are heavy-duty into “absence makes the heart grow fonder” mode. Neither has any complaints about the great reunion sex, though! Then Simon decides he’s tired of so much travelling, and he’s suddenly home more. A lot more. And wanting Caroline home more, too. Though their friends’ romantic lives provide plenty of welcome distraction, eventually Caroline and Simon have to sort their relationship out. Neither wants “out of sight, out of mind,” but can they create their own happy mid-ground cliché?
Yet again, this review was due a while ago and I am just now getting to it because of other personal issues I had and just didn't have time until this week. Sorry Alice, I hope Clive doesn't scratch my eyes out for not doing this sooner!!
I really enjoyed Wallbanger... Like, REALLY REALLY enjoyed it. I never laughed so hard at an animal before and the people were pretty great too, especially all the banter and everything I love!
When I read Rusty-Nailed, I was a little hesitant to pick it up because nothing is ever as great as the original and I didnt want to be disappointed in the sequel. I got my happily ever after in Wallbanger and creating a sequel seemed a little pointless to me.
I was proven right in the beginning, I was a little bored and stressed out with what was happening but as I kept reading it got better and then by the end I was really glad I read it. I am not saying it was as amazing as Wallbanger because that is a HARD one to beat for me but it wasn't awful and I didnt want to DNF it because I wanted to see where these characters were headed next in their lives.
There were a lot of things I LOVED about this book and of course number one is CLIVE.. I mean, you can't read these stories and not absolutely fall in love with this little feline villain. He is easy to love, even if you really hate cats....
Next, I really love how Clayton put more of Simon's story in this book. We get a more in depth explanation to what happened to him as a kid, why he never talks about his home life, and even a peaceful resolution with him coming to terms with everything. He stops letting everything affect him and starts really living again. It's a definite change in what he was like before but I think it was for the better!
Caroline was the same in this book as she was in the last one but with bigger responsibilities. She had to take on a lot in this book and I experienced the frustration right along with her. I was tired just reading everything that she was taking on and worrying about. The sex between Caroline and Simon was just as hot and it made me want to stick Simon's face between my crotch and never let him up to breathe... Who needs air anyway?
Overall, even if I did not like this book as much as Wallbanger I feel it was just as awesome and entertaining. I am glad to see where Caroline and Simon's lives are headed and I can't wait to read more in this series because I really LOVE all these characters and I am glad I do not have to say goodbye to any of them, any time soon!!!
I give this a 4 "Clive is still my favorite pussy" Stars!!!!!

{Review} The Infamous Ellen James by N.A. Alcorn
Blog Tour Stop
December 3rd, 2013
Meet twenty-eight year old Ellen James. A sarcastic, feisty, foul-mouthed ER Nurse. She is snarky, sassy, and sometimes crudely inappropriate. After a terrible breakup with her fiancé, Ellen has promised herself that she will never make the mistake of falling for another man again… and physicians, well she’s more than written them off.
Once she meets sexy Trauma Surgeon, Dr. Trent Hamilton, this promise is unbelievably hard to keep. This too-hot-for-Ellen's-own-good man is undeniably sexy and down-right irresistible. He leaves her breathless, speechless, and irritatingly turned on. He makes her fantasize about him in all kinds of dirty, inappropriate ways.
With the help of her obnoxious, and often times hilarious best friend Amy, Ellen will find herself in several crazy, embarrassing situations.
This is a story of friendship, love and how one very sarcastic woman can find the strength to pick up the pieces after having her heart broken.
In her first novel, N.A. Alcorn provides interesting takes on the word vagina, while giving you a reason to re-think your next visit to the Emergency Room. This book is bound to make you laugh, smile, and provide you with enough sarcasm to choke your grandmother. No, N.A. doesn’t want anything bad to happen to your Grandma Ruth, but she does want you to strongly consider re-naming your vibrator after a guy who’s at the top of your spank bank rotation. Be prepared for dripping juice-boxes, awkward pelvic thrusting, and a little suspense to keep your snatch on edge.
Warning: This novel contains explicit sex, profanity and far too much vaginal humor. This novel is not meant for anti-fornicators, up-tight prudes, or virgins who refuse to go to Pound Town.

My Thoughts
I have been staring at this computer screen for an insurmountable amount of time, thinking of what exactly I want to say about this book. There are always questions that I ask myself before writing a review, such as;
Did I like it? Why, yes, yes I did.
Well, did I LOVE it? Ehh no it was good, bordering on great, but just didn't quite get there.
What didn't I love?
Hmmm... see, that is the inevitable question I have to ask/answer myself and it is never easy to come up with an answer that would make sense to everyone else like it does inside my head but also not give away any plot twists or anything that will ruin the book for everyone else...
So here goes nothing...
Bare with me Trollops, I promise not to give anything away but I will be vague...
This book was quite frankly HILARIOUS, light-hearted, and not much drama...at all. This book would be PERFECT to read after reading books with too much angst and not enough funny or if you just need something light after a hot mess series like The Consequence series... (Ugh but that is another day and another review)... OR even if you just want to get lost inside a world without the added heartbreak or gut punching moments.
I liked it.
Ellen was a hilarious, borderline alcoholic, and her antics were laugh out loud funny. All of this is a great combo but the execution was lacking. You can have funny, spit your soda out one liners that have you peeing yourself or falling out of beds from laughing.
But with all that funny, it can border on too much, trying too hard to be funny, and I think that thin line was crossed a few times.
I am all for inappropriate, sarcastic, hilarious books... I mean, I claim and own my inappropriate, vulgar mouth but this book needed to reign it in a little and it would have been PERFECT.
BUT I will give kudos, a round of applause and other accolades to the many adjectives and uses for insults, the female anatomy, and sex. I swear I learned more ways to say vagina and other sexual innuendos in this book than any sex ed or erotic novel, I have ever read. They were humorous and at one point I tried to find a way to count all the different names and insults to see how many there were in this book. Of course I was already at 60% when I thought about this brilliant idea and did not want to go back through and look so if anyone could tell me, I will lick your mother effing face (Jessica Park style).
Ellen and Trent were delicious together and I liked reading about the journey they went through in the minefield called dating. Ellen was hesitant to get involved in another relationship after the last one ended so dismally. She didn't know if she could trust her heart to another man, but with the help of Trent's dick, tongue and magical fingers her vagina sure fell in love with him fast.
Her heart wasn't that far behind her muff either ;).
There were funny moments between them. Their banter was great and sometimes swoon-worthy. The steamy, hot, fuck you, fuck me sex was orgasmic and it had me tingly in all my naughty places. The steam wasn't too much and it gave me just enough to leave me satisfied but also not grossed out (oh come on I know you have read scenes where you were like uhhhh WHAT?? His Scrotum went where?? She ate WHAT out of WHERE??).
If you are into that kinky sort of thing, then carry on and keep your freak flag flying high and proudly (no judging here).
;)
One thing that bothered me about this book was what happened with Ellen.
The author added drama and it seemed rushed but at the same time the book was beginning to feel too long.
I know this might not make sense, so hear me out.
While reading, I was like ummm ok enough of this happy go lucky shit where is my drama, give me something. Then I was like ok if you are not going to give me drama then this book needs to end already because it was starting to get redundant. THEN the drama I was expecting to happen, happens and I am cringing at what is going down and OMGing, HOLY SHITTING, WTFing, IS this real life... all over the place. I mean, I wanted drama and damn if N.A. doesn't give it to me. But THEN it was rushed and it ended rather abruptly after the drama was kind of glossed over.
I mean she has a conversation with her mother and then all of a sudden everything is back to normal?? What the WHAT?? No way!! She was experiencing PTSD symptoms and there is no way to get over something like that especially with how "dark" and "edgy" she became after everything happened. Ellen needed more talk sessions with either a therapist or her friend. It seemed her friend, Amy, would have been the better option to talk to considering how close they were and Ellen's mom was barely mentioned in the story so why did she turn to her of all people??
Le Sigh...
Overall though, I do give this book between a 3.5-4 bordering more on a 4 because of the vagina adjectives and hilarious moments.
