The New York Times bestselling author of Wallbanger and Rusty Nailed is back with Nuts, the first in a brand new series set in New York’s beautiful Hudson Valley.

Roxie Callahan is a private chef to some of Hollywood’s wealthiest, and nastiest, calorie-counting wives. After a dairy disaster implodes her carefully crafted career in one fell ploop, she finds herself back home in upstate New York, bailing out her hippie mother and running the family diner.

When gorgeous local farmer Leo Maxwell delivers her a lovely bunch of organic walnuts, Roxie wonders if a summer back home isn’t such a bad idea after all. Leo is heavily involved in the sustainable slow food movement, and he likes to take his time. In all things. Roxie is determined to head back to the west coast as soon as summer ends, but will the pull of lazy fireflies and her very own Almanzo Wilder be enough to keep her home for good?

Salty. Spicy. Sweet. Nuts. Go on, grab a handful

My face when I hear Alice Clayton is coming out with another book....

I fell in love with Wallbanger and I was immediately in LOVE with Alice Clayton. Her words, worlds, foods, sarcasm, comedic relief, sexual tension, one-handed reading-ness... EVERYTHING...

(Don't mind me over here in the bushes, I am just going to admire you from afar...)

I loved every single aspect of Nuts.

EVERY. SINGLE. THING.

I wanted to jump right into this story and play a role. I wanted to be friends with the local people, and I really wanted to saddle Leo up and ride him until the early morning dawn...

Giddy-up baby...
(Ok... lets put my inner whore away for a second...)

I loved the passion for food.
I could almost taste every recipe, and taste the elegant flavors being described. It was a mouth-gasm from the very first page until the very last. I wasn't sure which body part was more satisfied; my mouth or my vagina...

Roxie never had to grow on me, I liked her from the very beginning, and even when I wanted to bang her head against the wall; I still loved her and her aversion against bees.
Obviously Leo had my heart and my vagina in the palm of his very skilled hands from the word go, and them together, was like those couples you see out and want to hate on because they seem so happy and in love but you are secretly jealous of....

 Yeah, those!!

The supporting characters were amazing and REAL. I could imagine that small town and see everything that was described, perfectly.

The setting, characters, humor, and even the few twists had me feeling all in my feelings!!!

I was in serious awe, love, and I am just infatuated with this book... LOVED it with my whole being.

If you want a feel-good book with a TON of heart and things that make you SWOON and drop your panties, then you NEED to get this book ASAP!!!!!
