{Review}{Giveaway} Thin Love by Eden Butler

Love isn't supposed to be an addiction. It isn't supposed to leave you bleeding.
Kona pushed, Keira pulled, and in their wake, they left behind destruction.
She sacrificed everything for him.
It wasn't enough.
But the wounds of the past can never be completely forgotten and still the flame remains, slumbers between the pleasure of yesterday and the thought of what might have been.
Now, sixteen years later, Keira returns home to bury the mother who betrayed her, just as Kona tries to hold onto what remains of his NFL career with the New Orleans Steamers. Across the crowded bustle of a busy French Market, their paths collide, conjuring forgotten memories of a consuming touch, skin on skin, and the still smoldering fire that begs to be rekindled.
When Kona realizes the trifecta of betrayal—his, Keira's and those lies told to keep them apart—his life is irrevocably changed and he once again takes Keira down with him into the fire that threatens to ignite them both.

Reading this book, I felt a LOT like this...

And then it would turn around and I was like this...

And then it would go back to this...

And then the author threw in some of this...

Which made me feel like this...

It was a never-ending, constant state of ups and downs and I felt bi-polar reading the damn story...
Even after reading it, I am still not sure whether or not I even like this book. But one thing is for certain and that is; I couldn't put it down!!!! No matter how many times I wanted to throw my kindle from frustration and annoyance and sheer aggravation, I needed to finish, to know what the hell was going on with these characters. How they ended up the way they did...why?...

But the whole time there was so much back and forth, push and pull, fighting (that I honestly wish wasn't in there), aggravation to the point where I was simply annoyed.. It was sooooo much... too much... of everything. This book needed to be separated or something because the angst was almost overboard.

When the characters were good, they were GOOD. But when they were bad, it was like ten pages of an argument that I found myself rolling my eyes at.

Gosh, young adults are just so dramatic or at least these two were.

But even with the constant arguments and back and forth, there was passion. A passion almost so thick and heated that you could barely see through. It kept me going and determined to finish.

Overall, I say if you LOVE dramatic, angsty books then you will LOVE this one but if angst is not your thing, then run far away from this story and DO NOT TURN AROUND... Also if you don't like physical violence (female to male), then I wouldn't advise reading this either...

These characters need therapy and they need it ASAP!!!

I give this book a 3.5 "Eden needs to put these characters in therapy" Stars...
