{Review} PLAYING WITH TROUBLE by Chanel Cleeton

The author of Flirting with Scandal presents her second book in a sexy contemporary romance series about three sisters in a powerful political family, the scandals that threaten to destroy them, and the passion that drives them…

The daughter of one of the Senate's most powerful figures, Blair Reynolds was ready to become the ultimate political wife—until she caught her fiancĂ© cheating on her wedding day. Law school is a fresh start, her shot at putting the pieces of her life back together. That’s the plan, at least. Until trouble comes in the form of her Torts professor, the man whose arrogance infuriates her in class but haunts her private fantasies.

Graydon Canter had a fortune and a place on all the hottest "Thirty under Thirty” lists, until a series of personal missteps nearly destroyed his career. A year teaching at a D.C. law school is just the break he needs to get his life back in order, as long as nothing—and no one—trips him up.

When Blair and Gray are forced to work together, their explosive attraction becomes impossible to resist. But Gray’s demons have drawn him dangerously close to the edge, and Blair has spent her life playing by the rules. Will she break them for a shot at love?

Teacher/Student relationship... HOT...

Gray... HOTTER

He was so very yummy and alpha male with a directness that made you want to smack the shit out of him before dropping his pants to bang him up against the wall.

I was uncertain which one I wanted to do more.

The story itself started out really slow but the tension was built upon throughout and I got a little frustrated from the back and forth but I did love it when the top finally blew off and the clothes ;)...

I did not care much for Blair until more towards the end because she was very feisty but would always revert back to her shell when it came to her parents and we don't get a clear enough picture of what happens with her and her family.

The twist in the story I kind of saw coming but was still surprised when everything was revealed and I felt bad for Blair.

This was just one of those stories that was enjoyable to read and even if the drama wasn't intense it still caused a bit of anxiety but the sexy times more than made up for the anxiety because they were really hot!

Especially the office scene....mmmm

I don't know what it is about office sex but it just seems really freaking hot, I think it may be the forbidden nature of it that really gets me all hot and bothered!!

Yummm..bring me a desk STAT!!

Overall, I give this book a 4"Give me some Gray office sex any day" Stars!!! This is the second book in a series but can be read as a standalone! I did not read the first book and followed along just fine with this book.
